This Illinois Vintage Fest project was apart of an event promo for my Motion Media Techniques II class, where we were able to pick any event of our choice, and promote it effectively in whatever style we’d like.

I was aiming to create a promotion video that achieved a retro/vintage collage style through animation and graphics, by picking an event that is local to me: Illinois Vintage Fest. Last summer I went with my friends when they traveled to a town nearby to me.

“The Illinois Vintage Fest travels around the state of Illinois, hosting vintage festivals in various towns and cities, providing local and Midwestern small businesses the opportunity to sell their secondhand clothing, shoes, video games, toys, and other retro items. Hundreds of people show up to these events hoping to find a unique piece of clothing or memorabilia from decades ago,” (Smile Politely).
