Main Title was a title sequence project for my Cinematography class, where we were able to pick any movie of our choice, and portray it however we’d like, with thoughful composition and typography in mind.

I picked the movie: Alice in Wonderland— specifically Walt Disney’s 1951 version. Originally, it is an animated film, but I wanted to transcribe the themes into a live-action title sequence, since Tim Burton’s later adaptations differ from the original.

I bought and assembled together all the props, and filmed sequences over two days. Therefore, this project lead me to pushing my skills more in live-action composition, and understanding more how to color grade footage to fit in with a theme.
